AIRBUS HANDED OVER THE 100TH A350 XWB
30 months after the first delivery, Airbus delivered the 100th A350 XWB. China Airlines took over the jubilee. In total, 14 airlines have this type of aircraft.
“This milestone comes as we have reached our record in the production of large-scale aircraft. Our goal at this time is to get 110 such machines a month, by the end of 2018.” said Airbus.
The A350 XWB, according to the European aircraft manufacturer, has a modern design that helps save fuel, carbon wings and, above all, energy saving engines from Rolls-Royce.
“We are happy to have the 100th Airbus A350. This aircraft not only met all our ideas, it even surpassed them.” said China Airlines.
At this moment, Airbus has a total of 847 binding orders for this aircraft from 45 customers worldwide.
