SONKA HAS EARNED ANOTHER VICTORY
Acrobatic pilot Martin Sonka has a reason to celebrate. He won the Red Bull Air Race in Porto. This is his second win of the season, when he moved to the front just two races before the end of the competition. He is currently four points ahead of the second Canadian, Pete McLeod.
“I’m very happy. I was a bit nervous after the qualification because I wasn’t able to fly as I wanted, but everything went great during the race. Thanks a lot to the entire team, now it’s time to celebrate a little and relax.” said Sonka.
But not for long. The next race is in Germany and everything will then continue in Indianapolis. Petr Kopstein, the second Czech representative of acrobatic racing, is on the fifth place.
